Regularly drinking green tea can help reduce your risk of cancer as well as cancer recurrence. Many of us have been drinking hot green tea all Winter long (for the past 6 months here in Canada) for its strong anti-cancer properties however, now that warm, Summer weather is here, it’s time to switch things up and try it iced! Here’s one of our favorite recipes…
Citrus Mint Iced Tea Recipe
- Choose any type of green tea you like.
- Toss some mint leaves, orange slices and your green tea (bagged or loose leaf) into a boiling teapot.
- Steep the tea for about 3-5 minutes, remove the tea bags/leaves and then let it cool at room temperature for 30 minutes or so.
- In order to get the full citrus and mint flavors, let it get cold in the refrigerator for about 2 hours (or more) before enjoying.
